ARLES
Arles
Arles is a city full of history. The city is recognized as a city of art and history thanks to its presence of Roman and Roman monuments.
At the gateway to the Camargue, Arles has a true identity as a city of art in the heart of Provence: exhibitions, readings, conferences, meetings with artists, etc ... You will find no less than 18 places of contemporary art in the historic center, around the amphitheater and the Roman arena.
In 2014, in the city center, the Van Gogh Foundation sets up and pays homage to the artist's work as a whole, while analyzing the impact on contemporary art.
Then continue to the Musée Réattu, which pays tribute to the Arlesian painter, but also to Picasso and contemporary art in general.
