Walking Man, Standing Woman

From 1992 onwards, sculptor Ndary Lo began research into working with iron, culminating in his "Hommes qui marchent", long metal silhouettes which, with their slender women with blurred faces and scrap metal bellies filled with doll's heads, have won him numerous awards. These "standing women" and "trees", entrusted to the Retour de voyage gallery by the artist's family, perfectly illustrate the artist's work.
